ABOUT WOODY WOODPICTURES

Woody Woodpictures is a boutique full-service production company located in Atlanta, GA that specializes in conceptualizing and delivering creative content from pre-production to post-production. 

THE DIRECTION

Woody Woodpictures was founded by award-winning filmmaker Derek Underwood in 2014 . Derek has directed, produced, written, and edited creative content for brands such as Mattel, HULU, Braun, Technicolor, Deluxe, IAMS, P&G, AG Properties, Colgate, Crest, Spotify, Johnson’s, Simon & Schuster, AJAX, and others. Ultimately, Derek’s goal as a director is to create engaging films that model the mission statements and marketing strategies of respective companies in order to assist in achieving their goals.  

THE EDIT

We enforce a dynamic chemistry of collaboration between our director, editor, and sound designer throughout the cutting room floor to make sure we’re constantly pushing the edit as far as we can. Our director works hands on with the editor through a highly collaborative post-production process while also communicating fervently our sound designer so that the final cut is something that feels fully developed from all strokes of painting the canvas. 

MUSIC AND SOUND

Our award winning sound designer/composer and partner at WWP is Noah Woodburn. Noah is also the lead audio specialist at Wieden+Kennedy’s J O I N T Editorial. Noah has done sound design and composed for brands like: Coca-Cola, Facebook, Nike, Old Spice, Herbal Essences, Dodge, and Chrysler, among others.
